June- Team Uniformity to Team Diversity 

When a team is composed of men and women of different backgrounds, experiences, beliefs and education, it better reflects the world it serves. As a leader, you may think you’ve got a pretty diverse team. You might even think you’ve got a pretty diverse set of relationships. But we can’t see what we can’t see—which is why the application for this lesson is an audit of your personal network. 

The good news is you can change that network in one stroke: ask someone you respect and admire, “Who do you know that I should know?” Then, connect with that new person over the next month, and come prepared to listen and learn—and make a new friend.
